Amanda Squires-Gil, Portland Doula
Postpartum doesn’t have to be a period of overwhelm, exhaustion, and isolation. Postpartum can be beautiful, ceremonial, transformative, empowering, mindful, spiritual and truly divine. Trusting in your body, trusting in your intuition and trusting in your ability to segue into parenthood with the grace and peace that are inherent to who you are is more than possible.
I’ll be there to lift you up as you carve YOUR path forward and to hold you as you settle into the role of parent. As a mother of two who has navigated two very different birth and postpartum experiences, and as a birth and postpartum doula for the past 5 years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve many different families and consider it the greatest honor of my life! Postpartum can be a rollercoaster and sometimes you just need a little light to help guide you back to yourself. I’d love to be that light for you.
I specialize in anti-racist, culturally competent support for anyone who would appreciate some serious TLC throughout their postpartum experience. I have worked for years within some of the world’s largest companies and specialize in the healing and empowerment of new parents looking to maintain their peace as they re-enter the work-force postpartum.
